Crusoes Coffee Shop

Crusoes Coffee Shop is situated in the seaside village of Castlerock, on Northern Ireland's scenic Causeway Coast. Opened in 2004, the proprietor Roger Robinson has realised his vision to create a relaxing and homely environment in which people can enjoy great coffee, freshly prepared food and friendly service. Indeed, the Crusoes name has become synonymous with each of these elements.

At Crusoes the emphasis is on quality. I have sourced the best of produce, supporting local suppliers. Crusoes' menu is prepared using the finest ingredients with the greatest of care. We use natural and wholesome ingredients creating an exciting range of homemade fare. We are famous for our coffee and hot chocolate! We care about our impact on the environment. We therefore recycle all plastic, paper and glass. For the comfort of our customers, Crusoes is smoke-free.

A stone's throw from Castlerock's beautiful sandy beach, Crusoes is within walking distance along the coast to Downhill, the Bishop's Gate and the Mussenden Temple. It is also in close proximity to the towns of Coleraine, Limavady and the City of Derry. Crusoes provides the perfect opportunity to stop in the relaxed seaside village of Castlerock for a great coffee shop experience.

Crusoes is located on the first floor of 29 Sea Road above the "Village Butcher", "Wavelength Hair Design" and "Head to Toe Beauty Clinic" and open 7 days a week all year.. Crusoes, as the name suggests, continues the seaside theme of its surroundings inside, with sailing boat, sea shells, port hole window and even a treasure chest. The coffee shop is a relaxing space, with a contemporary feel, lots of wood, handmade furniture and comfy leather sofas.

Come and listen to the music of Oscar Peterson, Jacques Loussier, Miles Davis, Chet Baker and local musicians Colin Reid and Julie Follis.... We also have evening events which include dinner and music - contact me at the coffee shop for further details on future events.

Crusoes has a childrens' area, complete with jigsaws books and drawing paper. A gallery of the childrens' artwork is also on display. The work of local artists is exhibited on the walls of the coffee shop.
