Dunloe Designer Boutique

Dunloe Designer Boutique, a brand new style experience that celebrates all that is good about Irish design, officially opens its doors to the public on Sunday 11th September 2011.

Located just on the outskirts of Cookstown in an authentic cottage set in idyllic gardens at the home of proprietor Doreen McAleer, this is the place you will find all you need to truly set yourself apart.

Doreen’s inspiration for the cottage boutique came from a photo of her parents on their honeymoon in Kerry in 1962. They were pictured outside a cottage called Dunloe cottage, a replica of which Doreen has now re-created at her home, to showcase fashion collections from some of Ireland’s most progressive designers.

Dunloe Designer Boutique will be home to sumptuous, luxurious knitwear by Sinead Clarke to wrap yourself up in for the winter, sparkling chic jewellery by Ger Breslin and Angela Davison to illuminate your look and leather bags to die for by Anna Faye. These will sit alongside fantastic headwear by Loraine Domican and a signature Autumn/Winter collection from upcoming designer Niamh Garry, a fashion range you simply won't be able to resist.

Speaking about her exciting new venture, founder Doreen said:
'I have always had a passion for the unusual. I would stray from the mainstream and seek out products through one-off boutiques or go right back to the supplier, just to find something different. Unique designs appeal to me and I love to see fresh, home grown talent being exposed and celebrated. This is what has inspired me to create Dunloe Designer Boutique, and it is my desire to promote Irish design as much as possible through my boutique. I hope that once you discover us you will find something that is just right for you , something you will enjoy wearing just as much as the designers I work with have enjoyed creating!’
