About

EastSide Visitor Centre signposts and connects visitors to key attractions and the famous faces and places of east Belfast. It is located on the Newtownards Road and is adjacent to both the Connswater Community Greenway and the Comber Greenway.

Visitors to EastSide Visitor Centre can access information on the city’s attractions from interactive digital screens, interpretative panels and a wall map revealing EastSide’s famous faces, places and industries.

The centre includes a coffee bar named after EastSide’s most famous author, C.S Lewis, who was affectionately known as ‘Jack’ to his close friends and family. JACK Coffee Bar offers the very best in locally sourced produce and provides a shop window for local artists and food producers to showcase their products.

C.S. Lewis Square, located at the intersection of the Connswater and Comber Greenways, features seven permanent sculptures of characters from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Aslan, Maugrim, Mr and Mrs Beaver, the Robin, the White Witch, the Stone Table and Mr Tumnus.

Come along and view the magnificent sculptures.
