An LGBT Play - not suitable for under 15’s - running time 30 Mins - Entry FREE
Give It To Me Straight is a community theatre piece that explores the language of homophobia. Do we mould our opinions on the words of others? The play has been written and developed by the Magnet Youth Centre’s LBGT & ME Group and Drama Group. Give It To Me Straight draws on real life testimonies and is a part of Northern Ireland’s inclusion and EDI policies. The play tackles issues such as homophobia on social media and in schools.
The Play will also host a graffiti art exhibition called Noise For Acceptance. This exhibition features 3 large works produced by young adults aged 15-20. The works are inspired by current events both globally and locally.
