The Hargreaves Breakfast,(organic where possible) is served on a table decorated with Irish Linen and the freshly squeezed juices and fresh water are served in Tyrone Crystal glasses.

For those over for a special occasion we can offer the services of a local Hair and Beauty Salon and appointments can sometimes be made for the Stylist/Beautician to come to the house. In addition we can offer the services of a local florist and an Irish Harpist.

For visitors interested in discovering their Ancestry we can also introduce a local specialist.

The position of Hargreaves House in Bangor, means that we are within a range of day time and evening activities for you to enjoy including a variety of restaurants and pubs, fishing, sailing, scenic coastal walks, shopping, children's activities and much more. The town centre is within a 3 minute walk from the house as is Bangor Marina. We are in a splendid position for use as a touring base to cover most places in the North; Dublin is within a two and a half hour drive. The Causeway Coast and Portrush is another lovely day trip as are the beautiful Fermanagh Lakes and the American Folk Park in Omagh.

We have several leaflets and vouchers, including Belfast City Sightseeing tickets - and of course our own personal recommendations for places that have impressed us but we can help plan visits to other places.

We are well connected with direct rail and road links to Belfast City Centre (30 mins by rail/road)and Belfast International Airport.
