Hedgerows Grow West Project - Hedgerow Management

03 March
'Hedgerows Grow West' Project is a cross-council project focusing on the conservation and protection of a regional and local priority habitat, hedgerows. We have secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to promote their conservation. The project will assist in the conservation of hedgerows through practical management and restoration undertaken with local groups and communities on sites that are open to the public. Events and activities will be organised to raise awareness of the importance of this habitat and to educate people on how to manage them. Events are open to everyone and will be hosted across the county at various venues. The following events have been organised to date:
Hedgerow management - Killyfole Field Study Site, Killyfole Local Nature Reserve, Rosslea. Saturday 3 March, 10.30 am - 3.30 pm.
