Hospitality and tourism companies to the fore as awards celebrate the best of Lisburn
Hospitality and tourism companies rose to the top as the cream of Lisburn’s business community came together for The Lisburn City Business Awards.
Del Toro Steakhouse and Urban Grill won the Best Licensed Eating Establishment Award, with the judges praising the excellence of its 28 day aged, naturally raised Northern Irish Beef and the breadth of choice of food and drink on its menu.
Best Non Licensed Eating Establishment went to the Avenue Coffee Shop and Business Venue, run by Stepping Stones NI, which was singled out for the warmth of its welcome from staff, great food and value for money.
The prize for Best Tourism Amenity was won by Good Cottages which provides self catering accommodation near Lisburn and Moira. The company was praised for its ‘small touches’ including a hamper of products on arrival and the superb standard of the cottages, described as ‘beautifully decorated and exceptionally comfortable’.

This was hosted by Lisburn City Council in association with Full Circle Management Solutions and were open to every type of business within Lisburn.
