About

Located on the western shores of Lough Neagh in the heart of the Mid Ulster countryside, Lough Shore Cottage offers a peaceful retreat and an insight into Irish country life. We are only a few minutes from the blue flag marina of Ballyronan, where you can enjoy nature walks, sailing and a playground. There is also a 9-hole golf course within walking distance. The local town of Magherafelt has restaurants to suit many tastes and a lively nightlife as well as a variety of shops.

Some of the Games of Thrones set locations are only 10 minutes away and the rest being no more than 40 minutes away. Many tourist attractions such as the Seamus Heaney Centre are nearby. The Giant’s Causeway and the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge are just an hour away. Our location is very central for touring Ireland.
