Queen's Welcome Centre

Queen's University, Belfast is ideally situated in the south side of the city close to numerous theatres, bookshops, bistros and cafes. Queen's Welcome Centre is located in the heart of the University in the Lanyon Building, named after architect Sir Charles Lanyon who designed the main Queen's building. The Centre opened in 1995 as part of the sesquicentenary (150th birthday), celebrations of the founding of Queen's College Belfast in 1845. The Queen's Welcome Centre hosts a regular programme of exhibitions and serves as an information point for visitors and tourists, as well as offering a varied selection of souvenirs and gifts. Guided tours are available by prior arrangement.

Open: Monday – Friday 9.00 – 21.00 during term time, 9.00 - 21.00 vacation time, Sat /Sun 11.00 – 16.00
