Safety workshop –Tuesday 14th June
Learn how to look after yourself and your bike. This session includes half an hour of theory and half an hour on the bike. Suitable for families and individuals aged 10 year and above who wish to take up cycling but would like to know more about their equipment and how to stay safe.
Bikes and helmets will be provided or feel free to bring your own. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing.
Minimum age 10 years old.
Session includes:
•Your personal safety and safety for other around
•Bike set up and helmet fitting
•Brakes and gears
•Starting off / finishing
•Cleaning of bike
•Anticipate your cycling run (what might go wrong and how to deal with it )
•Free bike Light for everyone who signs up
Maximum 8 places
Venue: Craigavon Watersports Centre
Session time is: 18:00 – 19:30, please arrive 15 minutes prior to session start time.
