The Edge Watersports

At The Edge we specialise in providing one to one tuition in waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting and kneeboarding. Lessons are carried out by our trained instructors, so whether you are a complete novice, or an experienced skier, the staff at The Edge will ensure you learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Age is no barrier at The Edge, and infants to old age pensioners can enjoy the thrills of watersport. In addition, The Edge was the first watersports centre in Northern Ireland to offer waterskiing for the disabled, and we now have the equipment to teach wheelchair users, the visually impaired and amputees, so whatever your ability or disability, there are no barriers to enjoying this action packed sport.

At The Edge we also cater for youth groups, parties and schools. With packages that can be tailored to your requirements we can ensure your group has a fun time. As well as waterskiing, banana boating and tube rides, there is volleyball court on site and barbecue units. We can also arrange Giant Canadian Canoes and Team Building Games.

We provide half day, or full day corporate entertainment packages with a wide range of activities under the careful instruction of our dedicated staff. These can be as relaxed or as challenging as you require. We can also supply lunch in our own marquee and provide you with a digitally mastered video of your day at The Edge

Our Pro Shop has been enlarged for 2004 and probably now boasts the most comprehensive range of quality ski gear in Ireland.

People of all ages can enjoy the variety of inflatable water toys available at The Edge. These include individual and multi person tubes, sliders and an eight person banana boat.

All rides are tailored to suit the individual or group involved, with the emphasis on safety and fun. Protective equipment is provided for all users.

Water toys allow larger groups to participate in watersport activity together and can be used to encourage younger children and help them gain confidence in the water. Wetsuits are available for all participants, (so no one has to stand around in the cold waiting for someone else to come in and borrow their suit).
