About

The Portaferry Hotel - a unique place to stay with New Owners from 2023.

Living in a country that’s surrounded by water really does have plus points especially when you can enjoy a night in the scenic town of Portaferry. Touted as one of the most picturesque locations in Northern Ireland, it literally means “The Landing Place of the Ferry”.

We are situated on the Shore with the Ferry Boat, operating every 30 minutes, words don’t describe our breath taking views of The Strangford Lough.
Our accommodation, all 14 bedrooms are individually decorated and boast antique furniture.

We serve food daily from 12:00 - 20:00, and we guarantee good food at all times.
If you want a taste of the Lough, we can certainly offer our best!

We are affiliated with Norther Irelands only Aquarium and Seal Sanctuary, Exploris Aquarium.  Located 100 metres away, we can offer customers discounted 'fast entry' tickets.

In a dream location, feeling like you are getting away from it all, yet we are only 45 minutes drive from Belfast’s city centre.

We very much look forward to welcoming you.
