About

Urbalshinny Sporting Lodge has a 30 year old shooting tradition in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Shooting at Urbalshinny was started by Artie Monteith in the early 1980’s. He and a group of friends formed a syndicate and started releasing pheasants every year.

Artie's eldest son Derrick and his grandson Simon now run Urbalshinny Lodge as a Game and Clay Pigeon Shoot, welcoming anyone to come and try these different types of Country Sports.

They also run a Registered Firearm Dealership A.A.Monteith and Sons at Urbalshinny.

Our aim is to provide customers with an enjoyable experience in a relaxed environment and welcoming new individuals who are interested in shooting.
We also run evening shoots during the winter months, so why not come along and help shorten the long winter nights by having a shot.

All shooter welcome, dates and times will be posted on our Facebook page.

We can accommodate shooting parties of 4-10 guns, perfect for the game shooting enthusiast who is interested in working their dog, whilst having quality targets. Bags can average from 30-60 birds per shoot.

Urbalshinny Sporting Lodge is a family run business in the heart of County Tyrone. We hand rear all our own birds from chicks and release over appox. 700 arces.

We are also well known for our fall of Snipe and Woodcock during the course of the season.
