Windrush Cuisine was set up by chef Wendy in Belfast in 2004. Her childhood is full of memories of wonderful smells and creations coming from the family kitchens. Celebrating and commiserating life and love with dutchpots full of brown fish stew, fried chicken, patties and hot hardough bread.

We now have Windrush Island Cafe, a chilled caribbean cafe, with many of those childhood dishes.

At Windrush we are passionate about food and feel everyone should experience the wonderful flavours and aroma of Caribbean Cuisine but also the love and time it takes to prepare these dishes. Caribbean food is varied and vibrant with flavours to challenge all tastebuds. Which is why we also run our cookery school, team building and featured caribbean nights all held at Windrush Island Cafe in Belfast.

We still are very much involved in catering and cater for all types, in any venue big or small. We can create an exclusive menu for your event, whether big or small, business events, customer evenings, weddings, parties or just a night in with friends.

Wise to book on Saturdays 19:30 is popular time.
