W5 Easter Family Night (Thur 2 Apr)

Enjoy a family evening at W5 this Easter, where you can take part in a variety of hands-on activities. Every visitor receives a treat bag to fill with sweets and popcorn, and children can spend the session making crafts or building their own LEGO Easter egg. There will be opportunities to meet small animals and spot the Easter Bunny for photos, with face painting and a juice station also available. Easter at the Ulster Folk Museum (Sun 5 Apr)

Celebrate a traditional Easter this spring at the Ulster Folk Museum. Visitors can meet costumed characters, watch butter-making and baking demonstrations, and try freshly made cake samples while enjoying traditional music and games. If you visit on Easter Monday, you can also join in with egg rolling, watch a pipe band performance, and take part in a traditional cake dance. Ards International Guitar Festival 2026 (Wed 15 Apr)

The Ards International Guitar Festival returns, marking 30 years of live performances and free fringe events. The 2026 programme brings together a wide range of styles, including blues, folk, rock, and classical music. Key highlights this year include a tribute to John Martyn with Ken Haddock and Collie McClean, alongside sets from Pierre Bensusan and Andy McKee.
