Ingredients:
- 740g / 1.6lb soda bread flour
- 1 egg
- 1 pint buttermilk
- pinch of salt
- Abernethy butter to serve
Method:
- Pre heat oven to 180 °C.
- Combine all ingredients and mould it into a large circle
- Place in oven and cook for thirty minutes
- Serve with a generous amount of Abernethy butter
