Titanic Itinerary: Young and Lively


Discover the sights and stories of Belfast including its rich Titanic and maritime heritage on one of the many excellent tour options available.

Get the Titanic Trail mobile app, uncover the story of the Titanic as you journey from the new Titanic Memorial Garden at Belfast City Hall, through the City to the Titanic Quarter, where you will discover a number of the key Titanic & Maritime Heritage attractions including SS Nomadic, Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices, Titanic Belfast, Titanic & Olympic Slipways, and Titanic's Dock & Pump-House.  Take a Sight Seeing Tour of the city by hopping on a bus and explore the top attractions where you will see all the quarters or if you fancy some adventure activities visit We Are Vertigo.

The T13 Urban Sports Academy & Shared Cultural Space, located in the heart of the Titanic Quarter opposite Titanic Belfast, is definitely worth a visit.  Uncover a world of BMX, Skateboarding, Kick Scooter, Break Dancing, Urban Art & DJing.  Do you want a tour with a difference? Then Titanic Segway is the tour for you - experience the Titanic Quarter on a Segway, where you will explore the sights and key locations which made the World's most famous ship Titanic and get to explore all the sights of this historic area by using these futuristic machines.


Have lunch in one of Belfast City Centre's many excellent eateries.  Options range from quirky restaurants such as Made in Belfast, to good value gastro pubs like the Northern Whig or Crown Liquor Saloon.

The Crown is perhaps the finest Victorian 'gin palace' in the UK dating from 1885. Look out for the cosy snugs.

Be sure to include a spot of city centre shopping as part of your itinerary.  There's upmarket Victoria Square, or Castle Court with its large selection of high street names.


On the first friday of each month, Titanic Belfast is offering visitors an 'After Hours' Titanic experience.  It offers an atmospheric experience in the amazing galleries that will include Titanic characters in period costume.  You can also enjoy live music at the Atrium and enjoy a selection of tapas and sharing plates in Bistro 401.  Enjoy the music & craic and learn about Belfast's historic pub culture by taking a pub tour.

The city is renowned for its emerging musical talent and you can get a taster at regular gigs at top venues like the Waterfront, Odyssey Arena, and the King's Hall   or for the keen music fan at a more intimate venue check out the Oh Yeah Music Centre.  With a diverse range of exciting festivals and events taking place throughout the year in Belfast and across Northern Ireland, there’s always something worth checking out.
