Restaurant Week returns to Belfast for 2013
Running from 5th-12th October and with over 80 participating restaurants taking part, Belfast Restaurant Week is one not to be missed.
Restaurants throughout Belfast City centre, will be serving up a selection of special dishes and hosting foodie events throughout the week and will build on Belfast’s already vibrant restaurant scene. Belfast promises to be buzzing day and night with food lovers from near and far.
This tasty celebration of all things culinary will see visitors flocking to the city centre to try something new or book a table at an old favourite! The week kicks off with Taste and Dine at City Hall on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October. Running from 11.30am to 7pm each day, this showcase of the amazing food on offer in the city will offer visitors the opportunity to sample dishes and hear from some of our local food heroes.
More highlights not-to-be missed include:
Beer and cider tasting, a pop up restaurant on board the SS Nomadic with a Titanic-themed menu cookery demonstration in St.George's Market, a secret cocktail club, cookery competitions, and tours, including a Food and Culture walking tour of the Cathedral Quarter - with such a wide variety of events, there will be something to suit all tastebuds.
